The Kitchen King Feast Wide Body Pressure Cooker in 9 litres is the most popular size in the entire Feast range  and for good reason. It is the sweet spot between everyday family cooking and the bigger batches needed when guests arrive or the family sits down for a special weekend meal. At 9 litres, it handles a full biryani for 6 to 8 people, a large pot of nihari, or enough daal and rice to cover dinner and next-day lunch.

The wide body design is where the Feast stands apart from a standard cylindrical pressure cooker. The broader base provides more surface area across the bottom of the pot, which means heat from the burner spreads more evenly across all the food rather than concentrating in the centre. For biryani specifically where the bottom layer of rice in a narrow pot often burns or clumps while the top stays undercooked the wide base makes a genuinely noticeable difference in the final result. Meat dishes like gosht and nihari also benefit because the wider surface means more pieces of meat can sit flat against the base, browning more evenly before the lid goes on.

The 9-litre body is built from heavy-gauge aluminium that distributes heat quickly and holds it steadily you use less gas because you spend less time on high flame. The Controlled Gasket Release System (CGRS) automatically relieves any dangerous excess pressure, and the precision air pin tells you exactly when the cooker has reached full pressure and cooking has begun. The double-riveted heat-resistant handles are sized to accommodate the heavier weight of a full 9-litre cooker, giving you a firm, stable grip when moving it from the stove.
